3 bowl games in 5 years is sweet indeed! Now how about booking some bigger home football games at Huskie Stadium (Northwestern, Kansas, Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa State again...), thus increasing annual attendence, thus creating the need for a stadium expansion (40,000-50,000 w/ skyboxes!) thus further narrowing the gap between NIU and the surrounding Big Ten programs!

Did anyone else notice that we got screwed by the ref's at the independence bowl. We totally outplayed LA Tech! #rd bowl in five years, way to go Huskies!!!

If NIU expands the stadium, they should expand the East Grandstand to match the West grandstand (15,000 each), and then add on to the end of each grandstand (adding 1500-2000 each side, extending them to the ends of the endzones)... prior to adding seats in the the endzones themselves. Sideline seats are easier to fill...
